Volunteer
| vol⋅un⋅teer [vol-uhn-teer] | noun: a person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking. |
Volunteers are the foundation of our success. The help we get from individuals and groups – on the construction site and in our stores -- enables us to fulfill our mission of providing clean, affordable, energy efficient housing in Palm Beach County.
Anyone over the age of 16 can volunteer at any of our sites. No matter what your experience or commitment level may be, your help is needed. Whether you’re interested in joining a committee or constructing homes, each position is important and valuable to the success of Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County!

What can Youth do to help? (Under the age of 16)
For liability reasons anyone under the age of 16 is not allowed to volunteer on our construction, ReStore, or Thrift Store sites. Even though youth cannot volunteer at our sites, at Habitat we believe in our youth and are continually seeking new ways to help get them involved in our organization. Youth are welcome to create gifts for our Habitat homeowners, prepare and serve lunch at a construction site, or organize a variety of fundraising events.
Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 561-433-3351 or at volunteer@habitatpbc.org if you are interested in getting your youth involved.
