More than 235 Families Served

A Habitat for Humanity International affiliate since 1986, we have built a total of 121 homes alongside our partner families and community volunteers. Additionally, through its annual tithe to Habitat for Humanity International, it has served another 125 families world-wide.

Even through the extremely difficult economic situation facing the entire nation and especially south Florida, over the past 3 years the Affiliate has increased its housing production from 6 homes per year to an average of 15 homes per year and is projecting to serve 30 families per year by the end of 2011 through a combination of new construction and rehabilitation.

Service Area

The affiliate’s service area extends from Hypoluxo Road in the south to the Martin County line in the north, and from the island of Palm Beach in the east to Lake Okeechobee in the west. Primarily a volunteer organization, HFHPBC has constructed award-winning homes throughout its service area to include West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres, Riviera Beach, and Jupiter and has completed the first of two homes in the City of Pahokee.
